The adidas NMD R1 NYC was launched as part of the adidas Printed Series for this silhouette. This NYC iteration is a runner with undeniable style.
The upper of the NYC adidas NMD R1 is crafted from camo mesh in various shades of black and gray. The signature 3-stripes on the side panel are worked into the mesh, and barely visible among the camouflage. The eyestays are crafted from puffy black leather, and the heel counter is molded black synthetic with embossed tonal adidas trefoil branding. The Boost midsole has black sidewalls featuring black EVA plugs, one of which sports adidas trefoil branding in silvery gray. One midsole heel features NMD branding in bright white, and the other heel says NYC. This shoe rides on a white rubber outsole with Stretchweb technology for both traction and flexibility.
