The Scarlet NMD R1 upper consist of a vibrant red knitted texture with Three Stripes emblems adorning both sides of the shoe. Plastic tabs that match the tone of the upper, occupy parts of the midsole at the heel and vamp for augmentation purposes and to increase the compactness and durability of the sneaker. The midsole consists of Boost foam technology for performance running and durability, while the light gummy rubber outsole allows increased traction. The adidas trefoil logo makes its way to the heel panel and the branding tag atop the padded tongue.
