Product Description
The footcages that are often found on adidas Ultra Boost sneakers add a nice design element to them, but some runners started to cut them off over time to improve the performance of their running shoes. adidas introduced the adidas Ultraboost Uncaged Core Black Active Red Blue in response to this.
Unlike traditional adidas Ultra Boost sneakers, this "Uncaged" version doesn't have a footcage. Instead, it has a knit upper that is reinforced to provide plenty of support without having to rely on a footcage. This upper also features a speckled assortment of colors on it, including black, red, and blue, which all complement the white Boost midsole.
Our experts appreciate that adidas heard the complaints some runners had when it came to the Ultra Boost and did something about it. It led to the brand producing an alternate version of the Ultra Boost that brings something unique to the table. The adidas Ultraboost Uncaged Core Black Active Red Blue was released on June 1, 2019, and it originally retailed for $180.
