The Jordan XXXII Low MJ Day is a low-top silhouette released to celebrate the date that Michael Jordan’s red and white Jordans were banned by the NBA in 1985.
This iteration of the Jordan XXXII Low is constructed with a black knit upper in a thick pattern. A smoother pattern below surrounds the shoe, forming the mudguard and toe box. Black leather panels subtly outlined in red come up from the arch to create the heel, and you can find a shiny red Air Jordan logo on the tongue. The heel features a spiky black support. The thick white midsole comes to a point under the ankle on each side, with a red Jumpman logo featured on the lateral side. The outsole of this shoe is red.
The most exciting feature of this shoe is the textile upper – even though it’s all black, the texture of the knit pattern adds visual interest. The Jordan XXXII Low MJ Day was released on October 18, 2017, for $160.
