Product Description
Nike started celebrating Air Max Day on March 26 each year in 2014. To commemorate it, the company typically releases several new Air Max sneakers. The Nike Air Max LD-Zero Hiroshi Fujiwara was released in time for Air Max Day in 2016.
This reimagined Air Max sneaker takes the upper from the Nike Boston marathon shoe and plops it on top of an Air Max 2014. It's covered in an Obsidian color that is contrasted by the pops of white on the sneaker's Swooshes and heel patches. It also includes everything from Flywire laces to suede overlays that appear on the heel and eyelets.
Our favorite part about this Air Max sneaker, though, is the beefy, full-length Air unit that runs across the bottom of the shoe. It takes on the same Obsidian color as the upper and complements the shoe's white outsole nicely. The Nike Air Max LD-Zero Hiroshi Fujiwara was released on March 19, 2016, for a $210 retail price.
