The Air Jordan 32 is a performance silhouette inspired by the Air Jordan 2 sneaker from 1987. It is available in different designs and colorways.
Air Jordan 32 sneakers have different features inspired by the Air Jordan 2, including the ribbed details on the heels and collar, the Air Jordan Wings logo on the tongue, a moccasin-like toe area, and faux lizard skin on the side panel. The Jumpman logo is visible on the side and outsole. Unlike the Air Jordan 2, the Air Jordan XXXII features a modern upper constructed with Flyknit with synthetic leather or nubuck, depending on the colorway. The ribbed heel counter is built with TPU, while Phylon is used on the midsole. Air Jordan 32 sneakers combine Zoom Air and FlightSpeed technology for cushioning. The Zoom Air unit is set up in the heel and forefoot sections, with a FlightSpeed plate and a TPU midfoot shank sitting on top of the units.
The Flyknit material combines with the lacing system, the huge heel counter, and the ankle side panels for fit and support. Air Jordan 32 sneakers have a translucent rubber outsole with diamond shapes that form an altered herringbone pattern and vertical lines within the shape that offer a multi-directional grip. MJ Day models like the Jordan XXXII MJ Day ‘Banned’ have the Jumpman logo highlighted on the outsole in front of the date “10.18” in bold font, representing the day the NBA tried to ban the Red and Black Air Jordan 1 sneaker in 1985. The Air Jordan 32 is available in High and Low-Cut versions like the Jordan XXXII Low Camo. Special Edition colorways like the XXXII Veteran's Day (2018) and Jordan XXXII Chinese New Year (2018) (China Release) are also part of the range.
