The Air Jordan 30 is a performance silhouette inspired by a photo of Michael Jordan at a 1988 slam dunk contest. It is available in different colorways.
Air Jordan 30 sneakers feature a jacquard woven upper with a reflective fabric that reveals a dot-printed Jumpman logo on the toe. Flyknit is used on the collar, and the toe cap is constructed with flexible rubber TPU. XXX, the Roman numeral for 30, is featured multiple times on this sneaker, including a graphic that runs throughout the heel counter and on the translucent outsole. Other branding details include the Jumpman logo on the front section of the outsole and maps of Africa and North America on each tongue, with North America on the left shoe and Africa on the right. The midsole of the Air Jordan XXX has a huge Zoom Air unit at the forefoot for cushioning. It is assisted by the FlightSpeed technology, which combines Nike’s Zoom Air technology and a moderator plate to provide the right energy in every step.
Air Jordan 30 sneakers have a full-length translucent rubber outsole with a mish-mash squiggly pattern for traction and easy cleaning and an elevated Zoom Airbag in the forefoot section. A traditional lacing system is used on the Air Jordan XXX with loopholes and round shoe laces. Rounding out the design of the Air Jordan 30 is an outrigger on the lateral side made of thick plastic with a galaxy or cosmic print design. The Air Jordan 30 is available in different colorways, including Gym Red, Black/Anthracite White, and White/University Blue. Special editions like the XXX Quai 54 Cosmos, which pays homage to the yearly Quai 54 streetball contest in Paris, are also available in the selection.
