The Air Jordan 34 is a lightweight performance silhouette by the Jordan Brand. The sneaker comes in different designs and colorways.
The Jordan Brand dropped all the non-essential materials in the Air Jordan 34 to create the lightest Jordan shoe ever. These sneakers feature an upper constructed with lightweight synthetic textiles, which is performance woven underneath. The side panels are made of open textile for breathability, while the tongue and inner section of the ankle area are mildly padded with foam. Air Jordan 34’s cushioning setup features a Phylon midsole with a standard Zoom Air unit in the forefoot and a Hex Zoom Air unit in the heel. The midsole sits on a rubber outsole with a herringbone traction pattern in a bladed, multi-directional fashion for traction. An Eclipse Plate made of hard plastic (TPU) that sits between the forefoot and heel sections offers torsional protection.
The Air Jordan XXXIV has an internal heel counter for ankle support and heel lockdown and a traditional tongue and lace-up closure for a comfortable fit. The sneaker is available in mid and low-cut designs, with the low-cut versions exposing the ankle while mid-cut sneakers provide ankle cover. Other details include “Nike Air” branding on the heel counter and a heel pull tab. The selection includes several Player Exclusive (PE) colorways like the XXXIV Low Guo Ailun Pop Art (GS), which features Chinese professional basketball player Guo Ailun and the Jordan XXXIV Jayson Tatum Welcome To The Zoo (GS) sneaker inspired by Jayson Tatum’s visits to the zoo with his son. Special Edition colorways like the Jordan XXXIV Paris) are also part of the range.
