Lizzo

American artist Lizzo was born in Detroit, Michigan, and raised in Houston, Texas, before launching her hip-hop career out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Having released two albums on independent record labels, Lizzo’s major label debut was the 2016 EP Coconut Oil. Lizzo’s career took off with the release of her third studio album in 2019, Cuz I Love You, which featured the singles "Tempo" and "Juice."

In 2022, Lizzo released the album Special, which featured the lead single "About Damn Time." "About Damn Time" hit the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earned her a Grammy Award for Record of the Year. Fans of Special can find the album on a variety of limited edition colored vinyl pressings, including options of Purple, Orange, and Clear. Collectors of the most exclusive rarities will want to check out the vinyl special release Lizzo Special Target Exclusive Alternative Cover LP with an alternative cover image, in which she sports a bountiful afro, as opposed to the beaded head covering in the standard cover image.

Lizzo’s musical talent, which is noteworthy for her skill as a flutist in addition to her singing and rapping, quickly garnered her attention worldwide. After the success of her recorded releases, Lizzo ventured into film and television, performing as both host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live, making a guest appearance on The Simpsons, and acting in The Mandalorian. Many fans may have become familiar with Lizzo’s work from the 2023 box office smash Barbie, also known for myriad collectibles, which featured her original single "Pink."
