Product Description
The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star 70s Hi 2-in-1 Feng Chen Wang Grey is a collaborative product by Converse and established Chinese-born menswear designer Feng Chen Wang.
An iteration of the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star 70s 2-in-1, one of the duo’s first collaborative products, this shoe is doubled-up on the front and the back. Its upper, embellished with a unique graphic print meant to resemble sealed concrete, features grey metallic eyelets, laces, a pull tab, a black Converse Chuck Taylor All Star imprint, and Feng Chen Wang branding vertically printed on the back heel. The Grey Feng Chen Wang Converse Chuck Taylor All Star 70s Hi 2-in-1 rests on a stacked midsole and a rubber outsole. Note that this outsole is split into four quadrants.
The design for the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star 70s Hi 2-in-1 Feng Chen Wang Grey is what we love the most about the shoe. The idea for this shoe, released on October 12th, 2021, for $180, was to push structural and cultural limits. Its design achieves this purpose because it creates the illusion of restrictions being shattered.
