The A Bathing Ape Bape Sta Paint Beige takes a classic silhouette and replaces the signature patent leather overlays with something a bit more abstract.

The upper of the Paint Beige A Bathing Ape Bape Sta begins as a pale beige smooth leather. Perforations dot the toe box and the side panel just above the foxing for ventilation and increased comfort. The signature overlays on the toe cap, midfoot, eyestays, collar, and heel are composed of smooth beige leather with colorful graphics that look like paint splatters. The lightning bolt and star across the side panel is in a deep red leather. The beige foam insole has embossed tonal striping around the toe and heel and sports embossed Bape branding. The white rubber outsole sports the classic Bape Sta traction pattern.

What we enjoy most about this vibrant sneaker is the way the Bape logo on the upper is worked into the paint splatter design. It appears in its usual place on the outer heel, but you need to look twice to see that it's not simply another paint splatter.
