Product Description

The adidas AE 1 New Wave (GS), in grade school sizes, is a high top basketball sneaker featuring a Core Black lace up upper, encased by an expansive Arctic Fusion midsole with a stretch honeycomb motif. AE branding in Cloud White adorns the tongue, balanced by the three stripes logo in Cloud White on the rear heel.

adidas, while known for its classic styles, is also a sneaker technology innovator, and the AE1 incorporates a BOOST cushion unit above its rubber outsole. Its striking design features the Generative Support Wing fabrication, which fully contains the sidewalls for the on-court protection inspired by Anthony Edwards, NBA player for the Minnesota Timberwolves, for whom the shoe was designed.

Our experts feel that the best feature of the AE 1 New Wave is its bold aesthetic, which was also Anthony Edwards debut signature shoe with adidas. The adidas AE 1 New Wave (GS) released on January 25, 2024, and retailed at $100.
