Raf Simons designed a large number of adidas sneakers during his decade-long partnership with the brand. The adidas Ozweego 3 Raf Simons Burgundy was one of the many sneakers to come out of this collaboration.
This Raf Simons take on the adidas Ozweego 3 wasn’t quite as outlandish as some of the other designs he came up with while working with adidas, but it did have distinguishing features that turned heads. It had an upper made out of patent leather and canvas with silicone windows scattered throughout it. It also had a decoupled adiPRENE® midsole and a thick ridged outsole constructed out of rubber that gave it "dad shoe" vibes.
But in our expert opinion, the best part about this adidas x Raf Simons shoe was the rich burgundy color that covered almost the entire outside of it. It gave it a luxurious look and feel, and the pops of scarlet helped put it over the top. The adidas Ozweego 3 Raf Simons Burgundy was released on January 1, 2018, and retailed for $350.
