The adidas Superstar Concha pack was inspired by traditional Mexican sweet bread, and it included three different colorways. There was the adidas Superstar Concha Vanilla as well as Chocolate and Strawberry versions.
The Vanilla version of the adidas Superstar Concha had a white fuzzy sherpa upper that was designed to mimic the texture of traditional Mexican sweet bread. There were also marble patterns worked into the mix throughout the upper to give the sneaker a richness it wouldn't have otherwise. adidas finished the shoe off with the iconic Three Stripes along with branding on the tongue tag and heel.
The thing our experts liked most about this sneaker was that it found inspiration from an unlikely source and utilized it to perfection. It resulted in adidas coming up with a one-of-a-kind shoe that put a unique twist on one of its longest-running sneakers. The adidas Superstar Concha Vanilla was released on May 18, 2023, for a retail price of $135.
