Product Description
The adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 Engineered Garments was launched through a collaboration between adidas and Engineered Garments, an Asian fashion company, to add to the Ultra Boost collection. Daiki Suzuki, founder of the EG brand, adorns the popular adidas silhouette with Asian streetwear aesthetics.
This sneaker features a Blue Knitted outer with red, white, and yellow highlights on the Three Stripes insignia. For the first time in the shoe’s history, a coveted gum outsole was incorporated, giving it a traditional feel in line with Engineered Garment's inclinations. Branding details are enhanced by the blue adidas logo underside its iterated tongue, ultra boost logo on the heel stabilizer and both brands' icons shared on the insoles. Boost cushioning midsole appearing on the underfoot completes the flip-flop.
What we love about the sneaker is the fact that it includes a torsion system in its design, providing a bridge between the rear foot and fore foot for easy rolling off during running. Additionally, the midfoot cage is also good for support and durability. The adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 Engineered Garments was first released on October 20th, 2018, and retailed at $250.
