Product Description
adidas unveiled the ZX 8000 back in the late 1980s as part of its ZX lineup of sneakers. The company used this sneaker as inspiration for the adidas Ultra Boost DNA 1.0 Aqua ZX 8000 that it released more than 30 years later.
The bright aqua, yellow, and purple colors that were used to create this sneaker offer a nod to the ZX 8000, but this shoe also includes many modern touches. The Primeknit upper, the supportive lacing cage, and the heel counter designed to provide stability are all modern updates. The full-length Boost technology is also in place to deliver extra cushioning.
In our expert opinion, it’s the suede overlays on the upper and the pop of colors throughout the sneaker that really help bring this sneaker to life. It also gives props to sneakers like the ZX 8000 that came before it. The adidas Ultra Boost DNA 1.0 Aqua ZX 8000 was introduced on 8th April 2021 for $180.
