The adidas ZX 500 RM Grey Four Scarlet takes a running shoe silhouette designed by Jacques Chassaing in 1984 and updates it, making it more lightweight and responsive.
The Grey and Scarlet adidas ZX 500 RM features a white textile upper with a looser weave at the toe box for increased ventilation and enhanced comfort. This lightweight base is overlaid at the mudguard from toe to heel in grey suede. This grey suede also hits the eye stays and matches the printed-on serrated three stripes on the side panel. The midsole comprises a white Boost that disperses impact and returns energy with each step. Pale grey EVA plugs in the midsole add stability. This shoe rests on a black rubber outsole with grooves for traction and vents for Boost expansion.
The aspect of this sneaker that we find the most delightful is the addition of bright red in the colorway. Bright red at the heel tab and the branded tongue tag add an eye-catching contrast. The adidas ZX 500 RM Grey Four Scarlet was released on July 7th, 2018, for $140 retail.
