Product Description
Starting with its very first G-Shock in 1983, Casio has always set its sights on trying to produce some of the toughest watches on the planet. The Casio G-Shock GA800-1A maintains this time-honored tradition while also offering up a modern take on the original G-Shock model.
This G-Shock watch features a relatively straightforward design that includes a durable black resin case and a black resin case that matches it. It also has gray lettering on the bezel, as well as gray hour and minute hands and indexes to lighten things up a little. The G-Shock branding on the dial is done up in red, too, to incorporate a strong pop of color into the mix.
The thing our experts like most about this G-Shock watch, though, is that it is designed to be very comfortable from the moment you first put it on. It has a compact case and a thinner design than many other G-Shocks, which enables it to still be a rugged watch without feeling too bulky. The Casio G-Shock GA800-1A was released in December 2016, and it originally carried a $99 retail price tag.
