Product Description
The Daniel Arsham x Pokemon x 2G TOKYO Pikachu Keychain is one part of a larger collaboration between the visual artist and the iconic franchise. The result is a keychain of the Pikachu character that still follows the same silhouette of the Pokemon, but it includes a style popularized by part of Arsham's works. The character has a typical jovial expression on the face and is striking a pose often seen on Pikachu merchandise.
The keychain features a standard fob for holding keys attached to a representation of the Pikachu character in Arsham's signature style, which includes likenesses or objects that appear to be decaying or fossilized over long periods of time. The body is completely white rather than the traditional black and yellow. There are also cracks and holes in the keychain figurine to denote the effects of fossilization on the piece.
The Daniel Arsham x Pokemon x 2G TOKYO Pikachu Keychain released in July 2020 and retailed for $42.
