Product Description
The Air Jordan 2 hasn’t been re-released quite as often as the Air Jordan 1 that came just before it, but it has reemerged in stores on several occasions over time. The Air Jordan 2 Retro White Varsity Red (2004) was one of the re-releases for Michael Jordan’s second signature sneaker.
The 2004 version of the Air Jordan 2 looked a lot like the one that was first introduced in 1986 since the two sneakers shared the same color scheme. It had a mostly white leather upper with pops of black on the midsole, laces, and lining and pops of red on the tongue tag, heel, outsole, and lining. It also featured the Air Jordan "Wings" logo on the tongue and old-school Nike branding on the heel.
What our experts loved most about this Air Jordan 2 is that Nike didn’t try too hard to differentiate it from the OG version. It helped introduce a new generation to it nearly 20 years after its initial release. The Air Jordan 2 Retro White Varsity Red (2004) was released on March 27, 2004, for a retail price of $110.
