Product Description
Almost all the different Air Jordans that have been introduced over the years include colors that give them great backstories. The Air Jordan 9 Retro Photo Blue has one of the most unique backstories of the bunch .
Originally, this Air Jordan 9 was supposed to feature a black sole on it. But because of an error at a factory, about 10,000 pairs of this AJ9 were made with a white sole. As a result, this AJ9 has the same black synthetic leather and nubuck upper as other AJ9s produced with a black sole. It also has the same bright blue stitching on it and the same accents found throughout it, but its white sole sets it apart.
Our experts love the contrast the white sole provides when placed next to the black upper. It gives the sneaker a little more life and makes it appear as though Jordan Brand should have planned to create the sneaker with a white soul the whole time. The Air Jordan 9 Retro Photo Blue was released on November 3, 2012, when it first retailed for $160.
