Product Description
Nike has incorporated a variety of materials into the signature sneakers they’ve created for LeBron James since first signing him to a shoe deal in 2003. The Nike LeBron 12 EXT Cork saw the brand work cork into the mix.
The upper on this LeBron 12 sneaker was made almost primarily out of cork, save for the hits of black on the Hyperposite paneling, heel tab, and laces. It also featured a large metallic gold Swoosh on the side that matched nicely with the gold jewels on the shoe’s laces. A translucent gum outsole completed the look of the shoe and included hexagonal Zoom Air units for added comfort.
Still, it’s hard for our experts to focus on anything other than the cork that made this shoe stand out so much. It worked well with the design of the LeBron 12 and made this sneaker look every bit as good as the Nike LeBron X EXT Cork that came before it and featured a cork upper. The Nike LeBron 12 EXT Cork was released on September 12, 2015, for a retail price of $250.
