The New Balance 1000 Green Grey is a performance shoe with a retro design that comes in layers.

The Green Grey New Balance 1000 contains an upper made of leather, ripstop fabric, and suede. The top of the shoe around the laces is white leather, while the heel tab is made of asymmetric white mesh. The heel tab carries a New Balance "N." Under this sea-salt white layer is a thin layer of gray ripstop, which snakes around from the heel where New Balance branding is, to the toe, and up the other side. Underneath this layer of ripstop is Mallard Green suede and leather, which dominate the bottom half of the shoe. The leather toe cap and suede supports on the side are accented with white and contain 1000 branding. The New Balance "N" also appears on the sides in white. The midsole and outsole are also green.

Our favorite thing about this shoe is the asymmetric design of the heel and the branding present there, which adds an extra bit of style. The New Balance 1000 Green Grey was released on September 11, 2024, for $150.
