This retro-inspired sneaker was created to celebrate Nike Air Max Month, a Nike campaign that celebrates the release of the first sneaker with Air Max technology in 1986. It also pays tribute to Tinker Hatfield, the designer behind some of Nike’s most recognizable silhouettes. A marble pattern decorates the entire multi-color leather upper and resembles the floors of many iconic museums. The midsole features a similar marble texture and the exaggerated visible Air Max units originally found in the 1986 model.
