The Desert Sand Nike Air Max 270 Bowfin begins with a base of cream-colored mesh, with darker brown mesh panels undulating along the side panel. Darker brown ripstop fabric creates the heel counter, while brown synthetic leather bolsters the toe cap. Wavy tan synthetics form a mud guard, while webbing straps in a black zigzag pattern criss-cross over the upper and integrate into the lacing system. Pull tabs at the tongue and heel finish off the extreme functionality of this shoe. A textured brown midsole houses a long Air Max unit with tinted green Air. The brown rubber outsole with pods of blue is deeply lugged for all-terrain traction.
