Although not identical to the OG shoe designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Icons Silver Bullet Nike Air Max 90 running sneaker brings a futuristic aesthetic as seen through a 1990s lens. For instance, leather overlays in metallic silver cross the upper, resembling spaceship components or a shiny bullet. Continuing the metal theme, the breathable mesh upper comes in Photon Dust, while the TPU components boast a light-gray hue. However, the sneaker wouldn’t be complete without bold color-blocking details, like the signature Swoosh logo in University Red, and visible Air Max units in the heel.
