The Nike Air Trainer 1 La Familia is a special edition of the Air Trainer 1, a classic athletic shoe that was created to meet the cross-training needs of athletes across various sports. It was released as part of the Latino Heritage Month celebrations.

The shoe has a mid-top silhouette with a Rattan color scheme which is similar to a combination of tan and orange hues. The upper is made from woven textiles with nubuck and cracked leather overlays around the midfoot and forefoot respectively. The midsole of this Air Trainer 1 is white to provide more contrast while the outsole has color blocks of orange, green, and blue in that order.

A standout feature on the Nike Air Trainer 1 La Familia is the strap installed in the forefoot to provide additional support and stability during lateral movements. The shoes were first released for retail at the price of $140 on 1st October 2022.
