Product Description
The Nike Class of 97 Pack pays homage to the introduction of Zoom Air cushioning in 1997. This pack is loosely connected to the Spike Lee film He Got Game in which Ray Allen's character, Jesus Shuttlesworth, rocks the Foamposite when chatting with his father Jake (played by Denzel Washington) and the Zoom Hawk Flight in the epic one-on-one game between father and son. While the film released in 1998, the filming took place in 1997. However, the Class of 97 Pack actually celebrates the Air Jordan 12, Zoom Hawk Flight, and Foamposite One/Pro debuting Zoom Air cushioning on the hardwood. Undoubtedly, the standout piece of this pack is the Nike Zoom Hawk Flight, a shoe that long-time Nike fans have eagerly awaited to return. The Hawk Flight was a pin-up of its generation and its unusual styling was a hit; the translucent outsole, definitive side panel support aesthetic, classic branding, and Zoom Air cushioning made the shoe a success. The Nike Foamposite Pro of this pack flaunts an icy outsole with red traction pods, an all-white Posite upper, and black along the tongue and eyestay. The Nike Class of 97 Pack celebrates the greatest of 1997 in a truly modern way.
