Product Description
Nike released a special "Recycled Wool Pack" in 2021 that consisted of some of the brand’s best-known silhouettes created using recycled materials. The Nike Blazer Mid 77 Vintage Recycled Wool was one of the many sneakers that helped make up this eco-friendly collection.
This Nike Blazer Mid 77 Vintage had a white synthetic leather upper that was constructed out of recycled materials. It also had an exposed foam tongue and Swooshes that were both built using recycled felt. There were even recycled materials used to bring both the sock liner and the outsole to life, with the outsole, in particular, created out of scrap rubber that was collected from Nike’s factory floor.
But we think the best part about this sneaker is that you weren't able to tell it was made out of recycled materials simply by looking at it. It looked just like any other Nike Blazer Mid 77 Vintage while containing materials that were better for the environment. The Nike Blazer Mid 77 Vintage Recycled Wool was released on January 7, 2021 when it retailed for $100.
