The Nike Free Metcon 3 was a performance sneaker that was first introduced in 2020. It was eventually unveiled in many different colorways, including the Nike Free Metcon 3 Black White which was one of the most basic colorways of the bunch.
The upper on this Free Metcon 3 was made out of mesh to make it very lightweight and breathable. This mesh was black, which complemented the white used to create the midsole and the Swooshes on the sides. It also featured a series of no-sew overlays that were put in place to provide more support at the front and back of the shoe.
The part of the shoe that stood out to our experts the most was the wide heel. It gave the sneaker a unique appearance compared to other performance shoes while also delivering more stability. The Nike Free Metcon 3 Black White was released on April 1, 2020, and retailed for $120.
