This training sneaker incorporates chain-link mesh in the upper. This durable mesh was first seen in the original Metcon and allows the foot to breathe without sacrificing structure or flexibility. The sneaker also features an elastic strap, which wraps around the back of the heel and was inspired by the Nike Huarache. Other elements borrowed from the Huarache include the rubber logo on the tongue. It's a true throwback to Huarache detailing from the 1990s. The sneaker incorporates a variety of technical elements, including the rubber-striped sidewall that encircles the heel and supports lateral movements.
