The Nike SB Air Max Ishod Wair Persian Violet Obsidian is a sneaker inspired by a model of 90s basketball shoes, designed in collaboration with American skateboarder Ishod Wair.
This iteration of the Nike SB Air Max Ishod Wair is made with a mesh, leather, and suede upper. Mesh dominates the midsoles, revealing a dark green pattern under white mesh. The perforated toebox is made of white leather, while beige suede overlays round out the entire shoe just above the sole. The Nike Swoosh appears on the mesh panel in purple on one side and in a translucent green and purple on the other side. The shoe features hidden eyestays underneath a black suede panel featuring Wair’s name in white lettering on one side. The heel features a pull tab with a green Nike logo underneath. Air Max units sit under the heel in the white outsole.
What we like best about this sneaker is the hidden eyestays, which give the shoe a clean and subtle look. The Nike SB Air Max Ishod Wair Persian Violet Obsidian was released on January 19, 2024, for a retail price of $110.
