The Pokémon TCG Scarlet & Violet 151 Enhanced Expansion Pack (Japanese) 4x Lot was similar to the Scarlet & Violet 151 Expansion Pack 4x Lot unveiled in the U.S. It contained four sealed boxes with blister packs just like the U.S. version.
But the boxes in the Japanese version had different numbers of packs and cards. While the Scarlet & Violet 151 Expansion Pack introduced in the U.S. had 16 packs with 10 cards in each, the Enhanced Expansion Pack from Japan had 20 packs with 7 cards in each. This led to fewer cards from the Scarlet & Violet 151 Expansion Pack coming in the Japanese version.
Still, there was plenty we loved about the Japanese version as it included special inserts like a full-art foil promo card featuring Snorlax in each box along with 45 Energy cards. The Pokémon TCG Scarlet & Violet 151 Enhanced Expansion Pack (Japanese) 4x Lot was released on September 22, 2023, when it retailed for $160.
