The Animal Crossing New Horizons X Puma Future Rider for Women features an upper pink nylon overlaid with pale yellow canvas at the side panel and collar. Other overlays include pale green suede at the eye stays, pink leather at the heel tab, and brighter green suede at the toe and heel counter. A white leather Formstrip coursing across the side panel matches the injection-molded EVA midsole that delivers springy cushioning. Puma's signature Federbein outsole in light blue sports circular lugs to absorb shock and provide traction. Puma branding hits the eye stays, tongue tag, and heel tab, while Animal Crossing branding hits the heel counter, tongue tag, and lace jewel.
Our favorite details of this delightful sneaker are the TPU plugs. The one at the lateral heel features a graphic of a message in a bottle bobbing in the ocean, while the medial sports an image of a sailboat.
