Product Description
The Reebok Kamikaze II "All Star" returned in 2013 for the first time since it originally released way back in 1995. Back then, the Kamikaze was worn by one of the greatest dunkers of all time, Shawn Kemp. Although it’s a shame "The Reign Man" never won a dunk contest, he was an NBA All Star for 6 straight years. In the midst of those years, Kemp was selected to the Western Conference All Stars for what would later become one of the most famous NBA All Star games in sneakerhead memories. Shawn Kemp laced up a never before seen, navy and white pair of the Reebok Kamikaze II. Kemp finished the game with 13 points and 4 rebounds and sneaker enthusiasts got a glimpse of a Reebok colorway--amongst many other iconic sneakers--they had never seen before. In 2013 the Kamikaze II returned for the first time ever, Reebok dove into the vault and brought out the Athletic Navy/White colorway originally worn by Kemp in San Antonio back in 1996. Though the Reebok Kamikaze II "All Star" wasn’t at the top of wish lists like some of the other colorways that released, the nostalgic sneakerheads got to relive one of the best All Star Weekends in history with this retro release.
