Product Description
One of the most head-turning designs of the 90s, the Reebok Kamikaze II OG in Black/White/Green returned for the very first time in 2013. If you’re not familiar with the Kamikaze line from Reebok, this was essentially 14-year NBA veteran and 6-time NBA All Star, Shawn Kemp’s signature sneaker line. Kemp was one of the greatest Seattle Supersonics players of all time and his ability to dunk on opponents, combined with the rainy weather in Seattle, earned him the nickname "The Reign Man" from legendary announcer Kevin Calabro. Reebok’s Kamikaze II features a bold design with paneling that made it easily recognizable on court, even back in the 90s when there was no such thing as HD TV. The OG colorway featured black, white and green to align with the Sonics jerseys of the time. The retro version, like many of Reebok’s, was nearly exact to the original Kamikaze II that released in 1995. While other colorways of the Kamikaze II released in what most would call "team bank" colorways, the Black/Green OG Reebok Kamikaze II is the most famous for its association with Shawn Kemp but the retro also was seen on the feet of celebs like Swizz Beatz, Chris Brown and Jay-Z.
