Product Description
Made for the players of the Under Armour sponsored Elite 24 Hoops Classic, the Under Armour Curry One Low "Elite 24" gave a unique and exclusive makeup to Stephen Curry’s first signature sneaker. The Elite 24 Basketball Showcase began back in 2006, long before UA was even involved in basketball sneakers as a part of RISE Magazine. The original showcase took place at the famous Rucker Park in Harlem and the partnership with Under Armour was made possible by Kris Stone, UA’s Director of Sports Marketing, who founded the E24 back when he was Associate Publisher at RISE. Over the years Elite 24 has showcased some of the best high school players from around the world. The 2015 event was held in "DUMBO" Brooklyn, though the Electric Blue, Carolina Blue and orange Curry One Low colorway is inspired by the earlier years of the Elite 24 Hoops Classic when it was held on Venice Beach in California from 2010-2012. As Stephen Curry’s first signature basketball shoe with Under Armour, the Curry 1 was one of UA’s most popular sneakers and the E24 version definitely helped stronghold that position. Although inspired by the E24 Hoops Classic, the Under Armour Curry One Low "Elite 24" was released at Foot Locker locations.
