Product Description
The Air Jordan 5 Retro Grape (2006) is one of the early colorways of the Jordan 5 silhouette, a classic basketball sneaker that has been a staple of Jordan’s line-up since its debut in the early 90s.
The shoes have a white leather upper complemented by a touch of black around the collar lining, some hints of purple on the tongue and midsole, and very subtle teal accents on banding and decorative details. They retain the majority of the Jordan 5 signature design elements, including the mesh paneling on the sides, shark-teeth detail on the midsole, and visible air unit in the heel.
One thing we love about the Air Jordan 5 Retro Grape (2006) is the fact that it uses a toggle lacing system to provide a more secure fit and better lockdown of the foot for more dynamic and agile movements on the court. The shoes were released for retail on September 30, 2006, for the price of $145.
