A collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Italian artist Fabrizio Plessi, known as a pioneer in the realm of video art in Europe who has been featured in international art exhibitions and museum collections, including the Venice Biennale, the black satchel is made of signature LV epi leather. Epi leather was introduced in 1985 in response to the demand for more durable leather and has become a mainstay ever since. The bag also has an open top, double rolled vachetta leather handles, alcantara lining, two interior pockets and brass hardware.
But wait, there’s so much more: The LV Monogram cutout doubles as an ultra-flat LCD screen. The moving image featured is actually the same cascading molten gold motif Plessi created at Louis Vuitton’s largest flagship store in Hong Kong, which was opened in 2008.
