The New Balance 990v3 MiUSA YCMC is a reimagination of the classic 990 model that was designed as a collaboration with the Baltimore-based brand YCMC.
This iteration of the New Balance 990v3 features an upper made of a dark brown mesh for air flow. Brown suede overlays form the toe cap, mudguard, heel counter, and cross the sides of the shoe for support. The New Balance " N" appears on top of the suede overlays on each side in dark brown outlined in orange and gray. An " NB" logo can be found on the heel underneath the heel collar, which sports the words "made in USA". A purple New Balance branded support appears at the bottom of the heel, and 990 branding is seen on the lateral heel. The tongue also bears a New Balance USA logo. The shoe features a FuelCell midsole for cushioning, and the back part is speckled blue while the front is white.
What we like best about this shoe is the bright hits of orange, which add a nice contrast to the otherwise dark brown shoe. The New Balance 990v3 MiUSA YCMC was released on February 2, 2023, for $200.
