The New Balance 997 Sport Grey Stoneware upper was released as an inspiration from the 1991 version, featuring a combination of hard and soft textile upper with TPU detailing on sidewalls, and mesh materials. 

These sneakers come dressed in grey, purple, and teal highlights all over them, and the stitched N logos on the side give them a distinctive appearance. In addition, it features a lace-up closure with optional eye stays and recessed eyelets, a lightly padded collar, and tongue, a rubber outsole with tread for grip, and a verdite midsole.  Completing this model is the ENCAP and ABZORB midsole technology which offers durability and support.
