The Nike Air Force Max CB Gym Red is a performance shoe containing nods to American basketball player Charles Barkley’s Houston Rockets era.

This iteration of the Nike Air Force Max CB features a synthetic leather upper in Gym Red. This material forms the perforated toe box, eyestays, side panels, and ankle collar. The lateral side panel also features perforations as well as a black Nike swoosh. Gym Red nubuck overlays cross the upper to form the toe box, support the midfoot area with a midfoot strap crossing the laces, and form the heel. The Nike brand name appears in white on the tongue, and Nike Air branding is found on the heel. The number 4—the number of Barkley’s Houston jersey—appears on the pull tab. The shoe has a black and white midsole with clear Air units under the heel.
