Product Description
The Nike Air Max Plus France upgrades Tinker Hatfield’s original Air Max silhouette with a design inspired by the reverse, grid-like architecture of the Pompidou Centre in Paris, France.
The design on the canvas upper isn’t the only element that pays tribute to France. The number 93 inscribed on the shoe pays homage to Seine-Saint-Denis, a department in Paris where this grid-like pattern is often found. In addition, a small French flag can be found on the tongue, breaking up the shoe’s predominantly black and white color scheme. Like its Air Max predecessors from 1987, this model features a series of visible Air units in the heel and across the midsole.
Something our experts like is the splash of red on the underfoot that complements the colors of the French flag. The Nike Air Max Plus France was released on May 5, 2022, and retailed at $185.
