Product Description
The Nike Air Max Triax 96 Doernbecher (2019) is part of the collaboration between Nike and The OHSU Doearnbecher Children's Hospital Freestyle Program that allows patients such as Bransen to design their own Nike sneakers.
The 2019 Doernbecher features Bransen's design in an all-over red, white, blue, and black colorway. The mesh and leather upper sports designs chronicle Branson's medical journey and pay tribute to those he loves. The collar overlay sports images of kidneys to signify his transplant, and the red and blue mismatched insoles feature Nike branding on the right and "Family" in the outline of a heart on the left. The white foam midsole with multicolored speckles houses a cassette of red-tinted air that sports Bransen's nickname, Boom. Boom is also repeated on the multicolored outsole.
What we enjoy the most about this sneaker is the bumblebee on the upper that represents all the B’s in his family, including his sister Brielle, brother Benjamin, and dogs Bosco and Bonnie. The Nike Air Max Triax 96 Doernbecher (2019) was released on December 7, 2019, for $130 retail.
