Nike originally released the Nike Air More Uptempo in 1996, taking inspiration from street graffiti for the large, bubbly letters. Nike re-released the original shoe in 2016 and then followed up with multiple colorways like the kids Nike Air More Uptempo Aqua (GS).

The kids Nike Air More Uptempo Aqua (GS) starts off with a bang with "AIR" written in massive black letters that shrink as they get closer to the toe. Instead of the traditional Nike logos, this shoe features a backward Swoosh inside a circle printed on the heel. A bright chunky heel with different shapes and textures offsets the soft fabric, mesh uppers and plain white laces. For one classic Nike touch, the Nike Air More Uptempo Aqua (GS) offers a clear air bubble that wraps around the heel, showing the wearer the inner workings of the shoe.
