The Nike Air VaporMax Grey Neon is a part of a Heritage Pack launched in 2017. This sneaker pays tribute to a legendary Air Max 95 that featured a neon colorway.
The upper of the Grey Neon Nike Air VaporMax is crafted from breathable, lightweight Flyknit in shades of black, gray, and white, with the lighter shades toward the top of the shoe. The ankle Flyknit is soft and snug to help ensure a comfortable fit. Neon green Flywire cables course up the midfoot and integrate into the eye stays for overall foot support. We see hits of this neon again on the tongue tag branding. A black synthetic Nike Swoosh adorns the side panel. A full-length VaporMax Air sole unit in black is fixed directly to the upper so that you are literally walking on air.
The feature of this sneaker that we enjoy is the neon-green rubber pods bolstering high tread areas of the outsole. This neon inclusion in the sole ties together the entire aesthetic of the shoe. The Nike Air VaporMax Grey Neon was released on November 11, 2017, for $190 retail.
