Product Description
The Nike Dbreak-Type Dia de los Muertos is part of a capsule collection honoring the Day of the Dead celebration in Mexico. The construction of the retro-styled runner was inspired by the traditional altars used during the Día de Muertos celebrations.
An image of a marigold flower is depicted on the lateral heel of the sneaker, and the open mesh design of the shoe mimics the appearance of white lace. It has stitched bone-like graphics in the Swooshes on the lateral and medial sides, the tiny floral emblem perched atop the lateral heel overlays, and the text-based phrase that spans the heels —"Para Mi" on the left and "Familia" on the right— all add contrasting details to this design. With the exception of its white netted base, you'll notice vivid elements of "Cactus Flower" and "University Gold" peek through to the mid-foot overlays, with the former coating the throat, while panels across the toe tips arrive dressed in charcoal grey coatings and cracked textures.
The Nike Dbreak-Type Dia de los Muertos released on 15th October 2020, retailed at $100.
