Nike spent more than a decade developing its Joyride Run Flyknit sneaker, so when the brand finally released it in 2019, they unveiled it in a whole host of colorways. The Nike Joyride Run Flyknit Electric Green was one of the many options made available.
Like other Joyride Run Flyknit sneakers, this one featured a Flyknit upper that was mostly black with pops of electric green in it. It also had a patterned textile heel and a tongue with special branding that Nike came up with specifically for this shoe.
But our experts believe the best part of this shoe was the transparent heel that contained tiny beads in it to provide additional cushioning. Outside of adding an interesting design element to the sneaker, it also helped turn it into a high-performance running sneaker that delivered a unique experience from the moment it was first put on. The Nike Joyride Run Flyknit Electric Green was released on November 14, 2019, and retailed for $180.
