Product Description
First released in 1984, the Nike Vandal wasn’t always associated with luxury. Parts of it were used to create the Air Jordan 1 KO in 1986, which was designed to be a less-expensive version of the AJ1. But the Vandal got a luxurious upgrade in 2017 when the Nike Vandal High John Elliott Anthracite was produced.
Designer John Elliott put his fingerprints all over this version of the Nike Vandal and turned it into a more fashionable sneaker than the OG Vandal. It featured an anthracite nubuck suede upper, an all-leather interior, and refined piping around each of the panels that made up the shoe.
But in our expert opinion, the best step that Elliott took while designing this Vandal was coming up with three different stability straps for it that could be changed to personalize it. It made it possible to customize this Vandal and further separated it from the OG version. The Nike Vandal High John Elliott Anthracite was released on June 22, 2017, when it retailed for $150.
