Product Description

The Packer Shoes x Reebok Kamikaze II "Chili Pepper" colorway followed up one of the most popular Kamikazes to date. Packer Shoes of New Jersey has a history of great collaborations and the "Remember The Alamo" Kamikaze set the bar in the summer of 2013 but Packer followed it up 6 months later with another creative Kamikaze also inspired by that famous 1996 NBA All Star game, where Shawn Kemp made the world take notice of his signature Reebok Kamikaze II. The "Chili Pepper" Kamikaze II concept ties back to the jerseys worn in San Antonio, except this time Packer opted for the colors of an actual chilli pepper. The Reebok Kamikaze II typically comes in a bold contrasting upper but Packer flipped the script for the Chili Pepper colorway, giving it a tonal red finish with contrasting materials (leather and patent) for some added flavor. The spicy colorway features a pepper covered insole, translucent red outsole, and the chili pepper Reebok vector logos first introduced on Packer’s first Kamikaze II colorway. Green accents add the final touches of the design by representing the stem of the chili pepper. Though not quite as popular as the first Packer Kamikaze II collab, the Packer Shoes x Reebok Kamikaze II "Chili Pepper" colorway is one of the more sought after Kamikaze retros.
